Obsidian earns its name in the leaves, deep burgundy so dark it reads almost black, glossy enough to catch light from across the room. It's a rubber plant at heart, so it asks for little, bright indirect light and occasional water, and gives back a lot. Set in a black ceramic pot with clean matte lines in the same dark register, the whole thing feels less like a plant and more like a piece of art.
